Dance performance
31.5.1999
1-2-3.6.1999 (Istanbul Theater Festival)

This performance created by Aydın Teker was a sight specific piece as many of her recent works. The artist presented, once again, a performance in which the limits of the body, movement, sound, music and image were pushed. The structural qualities of the space helped shape the performance; many divided sections connected to each other with passages were used as a whole of spaces contained within one's vision, yet still able to hide some secrets. Aydın Teker invited some artists from different disciplines to participate along with her and other dancers in this performance; a composer and musician, a choreographer and a contemporary visual artist all took place in the performance taking on different tasks.

The artist aimed to expand the limits of the performance by urging the audience, from the beginning, to view something unusual for them in an unusual way in which they almost became a part of the performance.

The composer, Jim Pywell, who took place in the project, came from England with the support of the British Council to participate in the performance.

In addition, the recordings of the performance were pieced together into a film. It is possible to obtain this film from Dulcinea.
